Players Handbook

Castles & Crusades is a fantasy table top role playing game (#ttrpg) that is easy to learn, easy to play, and allows you a wide range of customization. With our easy-to-learn attribute-based rules system players choose among 13 archetypal character classes and 7 races with which create their characters. Spells, equipment, fast-paced combat rules, and all essential information needed to play a game of Castles & Crusades are in the Players Handbook.

Monsters & Treasure

Beasts of legend and myth, monsters great and small, these are the minstrel’s fare: dragons, giants, orcs, foul-minded fey, the dreaded hydra, the riddling sphynx, the naga, wyverns, griffons and so very much more. Monsters & Treasure contains over 400 monsters for your Castles & Crusades game. Each entry consists of an in-depth description of the monster, along with its nature, habits, the territories they occupy, their predilections, and all other relevant material. Each entry contains all the statistical information required to run the monster at any game table.

Castle Keepers Guide

The Castle Keepers Guide includes a host of new material for the role playing enthusiast; from world creation, to dungeon designs, managing non-player characters, character attributes at high levels, spell use and cost, equipment its use and wastage, the tumult of storms, from warfare to combat, monsters, treasure, death and more. The Castle Keepers Guide provides the CK and the Player with a host of new tools for their use; tools designed to enhance play, not hinder it; designed to be malleable from gaming table to gaming table.

Castle Keeper Screens

The Castle Keepers Screens are a complete four panel shield for the beleaguered Castle Keeper to keep their notes, monsters, miniatures, and dice well hidden from prying eyes. These screens are a single accordion style screen made of durable board and laminated for protection.

The Hallowed Ring

It is a hard thing to cross the plains. The land is flat and seems limitless. The wind is forever blowing. The wild grass stretches on forever, until it mingles with the pale skies. Where one begins and the other ends is anybody’s guess. It is easy to become disoriented, lost or turned around, and fall prey to the sun, wind or any of the many creatures who stalk the flat earth.

Somewhere on this unforgiving landscape lies the body of a man ravaged by hunting beasts. He holds in his possession an amulet, a trinket really, but one that must not be left on the plains. The body must be found, the amulet retrieved and returned to its rightful owner. But to do so one must brave the wild beasts and unforgiving nature and unearth the mystery of the grasslands.

This stand-alone adventure is designed for use with 3-5 low level characters. It begins in an Inn and leads the characters on a short overland trek in search of an amulet.

Originally created by Darlene, famed creator of the original Map of Greyhawk for D&D, easy to read, this PDF of Castles & Crusades character sheets have class specific layouts.

They contain six different double-sided individualized character sheets. There are three character sheets each for the Fighter/Ranger (Strength), Wizard/Illusionist (Intelligence), Cleric/Druid (Wisdom), Rogue/Assassin (Dexterity), Barbarian/Monk (Constitution) and Knight/Paladin/Bard (Charisma).
